The three couples just inserted to the show, We Are Just Married, has made positive impact on the new years day.
TNS Media Korea surveyed the viewer’s rate on the show on the 25th.  We Are Just Married went up to 11.9% from 8.7% from last week.  It was a good enough rate hike for the show to dive into the competition of variety shows on weekends.

The detailed variety show ranking and percentage rates on the same day were as follow.

1.  17.8% The Family is Here, SBS – Top ranked for 19 consecutive weeks.

2.  14.1% Happy Sunday, KBS2 – 5.5% dropped from the previous week of 19.6%

3.  5.9% The Goldmiss is Coming, SBS – Going down.

The new couples on the show were Tae-yeon from Girls Generation and Jeong Hyung-don from Ultimate Challenge, Shin Sung-rok and Kim Shin-young, and Jun Jin from Shinwha (Myth) and Lee Shi-young from Boys over Flowers for the new years day special.  These new couples could choose to continue or discontinue their partners but they all chose to be each other’s partners.  It was a good start and gave an entertainment for the first day of 2009 in lunar calendar.

The actor, Daniel Henney, was on The Family is Here.  He had Korean folk culture experience and gave the audience much fun.  The Two Days One Night members (Kang Ho-dong, Lee Su-geun, MC Mong, Lee Seong-gi, Kim C, Eun Ji-won) had a surprising event for the holiday in Beol Gyo, Jeolla Namdo.
