All of a sudden, I realized that I would never have energy to write anything on my precious blog.  It had been my only place to write my soul apart from my work and any type of obligation.  I know that I am not a good writer comparing to countless of bloggers in this web place but I am not in a competition with anyone.  It was a perfect place to make my greatly subjective opinion of what I enjoy. 

I felt that maintaining this blog would generate the strength that I need for my life and others.  I don’t know how I can manage to make my future posts but I would like to give it a shot while I still can. 

I carefully selected Agasireul butakhe to be my first choice after all those dramaless life.  There are so many interesting Korean dramas but the coming back of Yeun Eun-hye caught my eyes this time.  I listened to the original soundtrack and it was absolutely the kind that I like to hear and sing at Karaoke room.  The title of it is Sarang eun uhcheolsu upneyo (There is nothing you can do about love) and sung by Yoon Sang-hyun.  I would like to type the lyric down below.

Another popular drama was closed after having enjoyed so many loves and hates from the viewers.  I guess there were more people who loved it than those who hated it although there were so many yelling and fighting scenes.

The living ones in black and the dead ones in white.  Kyo-bin and Eri seemed to become some sorts of gods in the air.  They looks much happy with white clothes and floating in the air.  I hope this won’t give any wrong idea about suicide.

You might already know how it ended but I am going to tell you anyway.  Kyo-bin and Eri both committed suicide.  Yeah, they were evils and they deserved to die million times throughout the drama except the later parts of the episodes.  They realized their faults and tried to be nicer but it was too late for them.

The viewers had feeling for them and saved their lives and wanted to see something to make their miserable lives might be worthwhile because people all make mistakes after all.  However the producer already put their lives in a death row and waited the execution date while enjoying the viewers’ sympathy towards the two problematic human beings.

Some viewers like me wanted to see Eri’s cancer got cured and live with Kyobin happily without making any more troubles, or let Eri die in a hospital and apologize to everyone who she had broke his or her heart when she was healthy and ambitious.

Unfortunately the ending wasn’t the way I wanted but it showed that people could be changed into better and the justice was alive.  The producers and staffs of this drama were furious that the ending story was leaked before.  They had kept it a secret to surprise the viewers but it back bit them.  This leak also ruined the fun to watch the end scene for the viewers.  I hope this kind of stupidity would not happen again.

The all time average viewer rate was almost 40% which is rare and unique.  I have heard that people in Mongolia has been enjoying this drama in there.  It would be interesting to see their Mongolian dubbed version of Temptation of Wife.  I am sure that this popular drama will get lots of loves from other countries also.

Kyo-bin looked too old to have a young and pretty bride, Eun-jae.  Her wedding dress made her look so pure and innocent.  She looked like an angel.

It looked so funny that Kyo-bin was wearing the same tux in his second wedding.  I guess the photo was taken the same day with his different wives.  Eri’s dress looked very fashionable and gorgeous.  The dress concept had to be dandy because she studied overseas and works as a makeup artist in here.  It also showed her bold and daring characteristics to take his friend’s husband.

So-hee’s wedding dress looked too sexy.  It is not realistic in still Confucius Korean culture.  Who would want to dress showing most of her boobs in front of all the relatives and families.  I think it was shown to have some big fuss about her dress and also let viewers’ know how big her chest size is.  It would attract more viewers and it worked. 

Anyway, she is another evil girl here and desperately wants to get Gun-woo’s love.  She would do anything to show her everything she has got to her love.  It would make sense to wear sexy, exaggerated, and the latest designed dress like hers.

Ha-neul wore wedding dress, too.  Many viewers love to see her wedding and it looked so cute.  I guess she looked better with Korean traditional wedding dress.

Yeah, it was the time to wrap up your favorite story.  I know how hard it must be to see the last episode of your favorite show.  It was the only fun that you had enjoyed for last few months but you have to find some other things to do.  You just hoped to see the wonderful ending for Jun-pyo and Jandi.  If that fits in your expectation, you can at least hold that image in your heart and feel happy about it.  However, if it is not, you just can’t have a good night sleep for a couple of days. 

Does it have a good ending?  I would say it was a moderate finish.  The producer couldn’t take any risk to ruin the fans’ fantasy.  I would do the same as he had done since fans react the most sensitive for the ending and he didn’t want to be nailed by any unexpected moves .  It shouldn’t be this way for the work but there is not much choice in front of hundreds of thousands of fans.  To prevent this problem, we should film all the episodes and then start playing on air like some other country’s mini series shows.

Jun-pyo lost his memory of Jandi after the accident and Yumi took his heart.  They were almost made through it but Jandi brought his memory back after she risked her life to throw herself into the pool at the party. 

Jun-pyo asked her to go overseas with him for marriage and study together but she refused for her own goal.  Kim Beom also flew out of Korea leaving Ga-eul behind.  They all promised them to come back in four years.  Guess what would happen later?  They all came back to their loves.  They became all so successful and happy and they came back where they belonged. 

They had to come back to their ladies because it is a fantasy story.  All of the female fans really wanted to see that the perfect prince Handsomes must think about their ladies for those four years and come straight back to them and propose for marriage.  It sounded no fun and too simple but there was no other episode to shoot and it had to be happy ending to make sure no female fans get angry.  It was the classic style of the ending and there were not much complain and not much praise either, at the same time. 

They were back to the Nam Mountain Tower again for dating.  It was where their first dating and spending a night stuck inside the cable car happened.  Jun-pyo asked her to go to America together but she said no. 

He came back to her and bent his knee for proposing.  The water and the sun looked so great for the background.  Who wouldn’t want to say no with that sort of awesome sight.  It is all about the location and timing.  But remember ladies!!!  The beautiful moment might be the once in a life time but you need to live with the guy who propose you for a very long time!!!  Don’t be too emotional.  Be smart.  I am practicing here to say these words to my daughters when they grow up.

All of a sudden, they were all together.  They all have big grins on their faces.  Was it because they all got together again or just so relieved to take the last scene?  I would do for the latter if I were there.

Why does it need another one for when it is almost finished the story?  Of course she is in the original story as Woo-mi that stays with amnesiac Jun-pyo.  It is not a big role that usually a spot for a new face, not like Kim Min-ji.  I guess all the entertainment companies and actresses want to jump into this bandwagon and enjoy its popularity even in the last minute.  I feel for it but also makes me sad to watch a drama that is not really gear toward the story, but try to be recognized by many viewers.

Kim Minji was on the 17 Tea commercial with a big star, Jun Ji-hyun.  It was amazing that lots of people suddenly realized Ji-hyun looked so old compare to her look.  It was a good work to make her known and she was cast for many other famous dramas including Chun Chu Taehoo and Miwhudo Dashi Hanbeon.  She is not a no name new face to take a minor job but she and her agent gladly took it.  I hope that would make even more famous than now but there seemed to have some difficulties.

Kim Minji took her role that makes lots of BOF fans angry because she stays with Jun-pyo and interferes his relationship with Jandi.  There are so many fans want them to get together and make it a happy ending.  They are just hating her so much now that they already have left so many mean words on her website. 

I just can’t believe these senseless drama freaks!!!  Are they all nuts or elementary students?  Do we have to say that it is just a drama and she is doing it for her role?  She hasn’t even done anything but the angry fans have already made malicious comments.  Anyway, did she expect this sort of nonsense obstacles?  It is even before her act was released that she can’t claim that she has done a magnificent work on her part.  How sad she should be now. 

There are so many viewers waiting to see the last episodes but mostly they just want to see what the main characters would wear and how they say and what sort of music video types of scenes it would show.  I think most of the fans who really care about the quality of the story have already left since they stop showing some good story lines.  The fanatics of this drama wouldn’t be too much interested to look at another pretty face who tries to take Jun-pyo away. 

I personally think there seem to have many loss for her to take this role but who knows what would turn out to be.  She might be famous than anybody else.  I just think that she should raise her bet to more decent positions than this role.

The scene was taken at Wangsan beach, Youngjong-do (island) Incheon.  I think the episode 23 is made for the fans who love to see their kissing scenes.  There were three  long kissing scenes with music and I felt like watching a music video, not a drama.  I guess the producer wanted to extend one more episode due to the popularity but he couldn’t find anything else to put other than their trip and kisses.  I think it was lame.  It could have been a lot shorter and given the viewers something interesting to watch than purposely extend and dragging the too obvious story.

I have to admit that there were some nice views and beautiful smiles that most of the viewers want to see more before it ends.  I think Jandi and Jun-pyo are the people you would never get bored to watch no matter what they do.  That must be why the story has gone a little bit sketchy and tried to show music video styled beautiful scenes lately.

This scene was so natural and looked pretty.  I felt like they were a real couple.  There were no lines and they ate and played just like normal lovely couples.  It reminded my good old days without kids.

I think the story lines needs to be revised to make it better if this drama wants to be really successful in overseas.  I know it is already so much famous because of their handsome and beautiful looks but this is not enough to make a good impression for viewers.  I guess I was disappointed to watch too many unnecessary scenes and felt so grumpy.

It is the famous kissing scene of the episode.  Jun-pyo asked her,”Don’t you say that you love me?  What am I to you?”  Her answer was holing him and giving him her kiss.  Very romantic and looked lovely.  They made as many as 7 NGs and made it ok.  I guess they had plenty of kissing in front of many staffs that day.

Now, all kinds of speculations are crowding among the viewers after seen this picture.  It looks obvious that Jun-pyo and Jae-kyung will be in a wedding ceremony as a bride and groom in Jeju island.  They might just get married and nothing would happen or Jun-pyo had to do something to stop the wedding.

The most important point is that viewers want to see something unusual from the drama.  Who would wants to see too obvious endings from a fantasy style drama like this one?  The producer of BOF would be in a big trouble because the wedding itself was the shocking event for the viewers when it was not leaked.

There is a teaser clip from the BOF site.  Jun-pyo asks Jae-kyung that he has a woman whom he loves for the first time and he only loves her until he dies.  And he continues that if she would like to marry him.  Jae-kyung simply said yes.  There seems no way out for Jun-pyo.  She loves him so much that no matter what he does and what he thinks these are not the distractions for her.

Jae-kyung even asks Jandi to be her bridesmaid.  Isn’t it too cruel setting for Jandi?  She had to let go of her only lover to her friend.  On top of that she had to be right there in the process of letting him go.  I think she wouldn’t do it if it were real.  The producer wants to draw more attentions from viewers with this unusual situations and wants to show Jandi’s look with the white dress.  I think his scheme has worked out so far.

Of course there will be Jun-pyo’s best friends, F4-1, at the wedding to show us how they would look with tuxedoes.  Jun-hee will be another factor that might change Jun-pyo’s mind.  The episode on this Monday showed that she kept reminding her mistake to let her love go because of her mom.  She wouldn’t want to just watch her brother’s loveless wedding ceremony.

I don’t know if it would be a happy ending or not.  Some people said it might be a day dream from Jandi.  I don’t like the day dreaming ending idea the most among many thoughts.  It had to be something better than just a absurd ending.  It has to be for so many viewers’ sake.  The ending story is undecided and the producer and other staffs are thinking about to make the best one.  The last episode, 25th, will be on air on the 31st of March.  We will see how it would come up with.

East of Eden finally wrapped up the whole episode of 56 on the 10th.  Dong-wook realized what his real father did to him.  He set a trap to put his brother and Jackie in prison and he used his real son to take these two competitors down.  He got furious and told him in front that he would take him down himself.

It was not a happy ending for Dong-chul (Song Seng-heon).  He was captured by his brother Dong-wook and held on a prison but he escaped later to save Young-ran because he couldn’t just let her got hurt by the kidnappers.  He didn’t really have a great plan like Mike Scofield from Prison Break but he escaped from it and tried to save her life.

He of course got beat up by Jackie’s and it looked like they both would die there.  Dong-wook showed up.  He even came in without arm to save them both.  Dong-chul was impressed by his act and got a bullet for him.  I learned that another lessen here.  If you don’t know how to save others, just pray at home.  He died in his beloved brother and Young-ran’s hands.  It was a sad ending for for him because he died too young and didn’t have chance to make any final move on Shin Tae-whan.  So many viewers including me wanted to see him kicking some butts.

Rebecca put some hands on Shin Tae-whan instead.  She suddenly showed up for final event and put some ropes around him and sat together with Tae-whan.  He thought she was going to kill him and yelled at her that he was Shin Tae-whan, the immortal.  No one could put him down.  Her reaction was so calm like nothing was important any more.  She acted like she was the real person who already decided to kill herself.  His all the yelling made her decision affirmed.  She stepped on her car and dove into a shallow river.  It showed that the evil would get punished with anyone even another evil.

The main event in the final episode was the above and I wasn’t really moved by it.  It looked somewhat awkward ending that didn’t wrap up the whole story, I think.  I guess I expected too much from it.  However I thought about it would definitely have a great ending hidden that would be as good as the first parts of the show that had lots of action scenes and interesting plots from beginning.

Anyway, it was done and I hope to find a better one soon.

The main characters of Star’s Lover are on their way to Tokyo, Japan on the 12th. for promoting the drama.  It is going to be on Japanese cable channel, Wowow TV, on May and KNTV on June.  It looks like everything is already set for another hit Korean drama in Japan.  Choi Ji-woo and Bae yong-jun got so much famous after Winter Sonata was played in Japan and their popularity has never stop grown there.

Based on her many fans in Japan, Star’s Lover was planned and made aiming toward specifically Japanese fans, I think.  It tried to show her natural beauty without too much make up and fancy clothes which are common looks for big stars.  Japanese fans might have chance to imagine her private life style through this drama because it showed a lot about how much she loves a person and wants to get together no matter what happen to her life and career.

There is another interesting issue about her private life.  Her real date was spotted and released on the press.  Japanese fans really want to hear from her directly how much feeling she has on him and other personal life relating to the drama.  It should be interesting to watch what she will say in talk show in Japan which is already scheduled.  There will be no way to leave this issue alone during the show and I think she is probably well prepared for it.

The drama Air City, which Choi Ji-woo and Lee Jin-wook both played there, was played on Wowow TV in 2007 and Lee Jin-wook is not a new face for Japanese fans.  Now we know that he is her boyfriend and it made the popularity of Air City also increase in there.  I don’t know how much more fans she could have this year introducing her new drama and boyfriend in Japan, but one thing for sure is she and her dramas have  already drown lots of attention.

They couldn’t find anything without the members of F4 or castings of BOF.  F4 Special Talk Show was the solution and I think it was a good choice under the circumstance.  On the talk show F4 released the 137 days of making Boys over Flowers.

The moderators were Hyun Young and KBS announcer Han Suk-jun on the talk show.  They invited all of the F4 members and wanted to hear about the behind stories of BOF.  More interestingly the show was filmed in Gu Jun-pyo’s house.  I guess it was the best place where they could show the viewers the actual filming place with their explanations.  I personally thought that was the excellent choice since Jun-pyo is so rich that the living room they used was just big enough anyway.

There were many interesting stories coming out of the F4’s mouths.  First of all Min-ho got selected for the role after defeating 200 contestants.  He said he permed his hair look like the original cartoon character and he thought it worked well.  He changed six times to get to his hair style now though.

Hyun-jung said he didn’t even know he was selected one of the F4s.  He was working in Japan and he read a news said he was selected.  He wanted to know what was going on and he called his agent in Korea although it was very expensive (he said).  His agent once told him to focus on his next album in Japan but he changed his mind and told him to work on the drama.  He sounded like he was confused of what he said but he suddenly changed that his agent is a nice person when Suk-jun asked him.  He really made me laugh on that.  I think he is funny and everyone agreed on that, too.

Kim Bum wasn’t easy to get the role since he was working on another drama, East of Eden.  He said he was surprised when he got that role.  Hyun-jung said he remembered him as a boy who cries a lot because he has many crying scene in East of Eden.  He was the youngest of the member and looked handsome and cute.

Kim Jun took the audition and he didn’t think he could get that role.  He also said it wasn’t just one time audition but there were many informal meetings involved.  Once he was introduced to a tall handsome young man.  He thought why he had so nasty perm.  He knew he was good looking but he didn’t know why he had to do it and why he had to meet him that evening.  It turned out that the man was Min-ho and the producer wanted them to get to know each other.

They also showed us dancing, playing the guitar and piano.  I would say that they did everything to fill up the promised time and tried very hard for it.  I really enjoyed their special talk show and I hope I could see something like this more later.   There are only 8 episodes left.  I am very curious to know how they will put an end.  It will be sad to see the countdown to the ending episode.  I hope to see more interesting stories the rest of the 8 episodes.  Am I asking too much?

They all visited Hye-sun’s ward and wished her get well.  They all worried because it was her face.

Their NG shots were so funny.  Hyun-jung was frustrated when the horse wasn’t really help him.  The NG King was Lee Min-ho.

He tried to play the song, Moon River, but I didn’t think he had time to practice it.  He had to stop it before he finished it.
