East of Eden – the final episode- Korean Drama

East of Eden finally wrapped up the whole episode of 56 on the 10th. Dong-wook realized what his real father did to him. He set a trap to put his brother and Jackie in prison and he used his real son to take these two competitors down. He got furious and told him in front that he would take him down himself.
It was not a happy ending for Dong-chul (Song Seng-heon). He was captured by his brother Dong-wook and held on a prison but he escaped later to save Young-ran because he couldn’t just let her got hurt by the kidnappers. He didn’t really have a great plan like Mike Scofield from Prison Break but he escaped from it and tried to save her life.
He of course got beat up by Jackie’s and it looked like they both would die there. Dong-wook showed up. He even came in without arm to save them both. Dong-chul was impressed by his act and got a bullet for him. I learned that another lessen here. If you don’t know how to save others, just pray at home. He died in his beloved brother and Young-ran’s hands. It was a sad ending for for him because he died too young and didn’t have chance to make any final move on Shin Tae-whan. So many viewers including me wanted to see him kicking some butts.
Rebecca put some hands on Shin Tae-whan instead. She suddenly showed up for final event and put some ropes around him and sat together with Tae-whan. He thought she was going to kill him and yelled at her that he was Shin Tae-whan, the immortal. No one could put him down. Her reaction was so calm like nothing was important any more. She acted like she was the real person who already decided to kill herself. His all the yelling made her decision affirmed. She stepped on her car and dove into a shallow river. It showed that the evil would get punished with anyone even another evil.
The main event in the final episode was the above and I wasn’t really moved by it. It looked somewhat awkward ending that didn’t wrap up the whole story, I think. I guess I expected too much from it. However I thought about it would definitely have a great ending hidden that would be as good as the first parts of the show that had lots of action scenes and interesting plots from beginning.
Anyway, it was done and I hope to find a better one soon.

Prison Break is definitely one of the best action suspense TV series. I love the story line, i like T-bag too.;’;

the story was sad at the end….dong chul hve to 2gether with his family.still can be save and alive!.
it was a sad ending for Dong Chul and Young Ran. I just wished that Dong Chul had live to experience true happiness with his love ones…..Because I think he deserve to be happy after all his sacrifices…………….

..very sad ending…the best korean drama i’ve seen…it makes me inspired and cry at the moment ive saw it… dung chul doesnt deserve to die..i want to spend his life wd great happiness to young ran….they are both good looking guy i want them to have a happy ending in the movie,….very very very best cast…DuNg Chul and Young Ran,,,..perfect …!! very pretty and handsome….i love them hope they will have another movie..which can make me inpire as i will seen it…

Such a disappointing ending! i never expected to watch the ending that sucks! the writer of this drama is only good in manipulating the viewers but not good at all. Next time, if you dont know how to make a really good story, just dont write at all ok??
The best korean movie I’ve watched.
Dong choi does not deserve to die, he sacrified a lot for the sake of his family and personal being.
He could have been saved and live a happy life with young ran and his family.
Dong choi is a good brother and a husband I guess, wish I can meet a man like him who fights at the end.
East of Eden could be perfect movie if dong choi lives.

Confusing scene at the end.
Why the family members greet him at the table?
The family reunion and he has a child. That means Dong Chul still alive! I think it that way and I am happy with the ending.
I guess the writer want us to have the ending whichever way we think !
East of Eden should have 2nd series to clear this confusion. I think everybody prefer to have this handsome man alive. How about Dong Chul expand his power to become the president and new romance of Dong-shee with the law school girl(she went to Harvard to study law) etc etc.
I will sure watch again because of all those handsome actors and beautiful actresses!

film east of eiden adalah film bagus sekali buat saya selain ada unsur politik, cinta, sosial semuanya lengkap dech… Tapi sayang kenapa akhirnya lee dong chul harus mati… Padahal saya sangat senang dengan percintaan mereka berdua dengan Grace ato young ran,

,waawoo! I love these korean films like crazy because they are cuddled with each and everything you would love to see in a great movie and the print is fabulous(HD)! Films like fugitive plan B,city hunter,east of eden,name it are incredible! But lee Dong chul needed not to die,he struggled for his family and he passed through much agony! Oh my!
