The top star, Kim Tae-hee is waking up from her hibernation for a new drama in this spring after a long absence from Korean drama industry although she has been busy working with TV commercials.

She was cast for a main female character of a new spy drama, Iris.  It is going to be interesting to see her stunt acts this time since her image has been more like a cute princess and innocent girl except Stairs to Heaven.

Lee Byung-heon doesn’t need explanation of his act on any genre especially action.  His recent movies are The Good The Bad The Weird and G.I. Joe.  The Good The Bad The Weird has released in England this month and G.I. Joe will be released on Aug. in Hollywood.  His popularity doesn’t know how to stop and his act is getting better every time I watch.

This new drama will be shooting at Akita, Japan from March this year.  Akita is predicting to make 200 million Japanese yen by tourists and other economic activities created from this hallyu drama.  It wants to fully support this types of famous Korean dramas and also starts to enlist business committee members to support this drama.

Iris is the first Korean drama to show a story of secret agents’ actions, betrayal and romance.  The scene in Akita will be A Korean CIA agent Lee Byung-heon sneaks in Japan and develop a story.  I just hope to see their great stunt actions and beautiful faces in all of the 20 episodes.

I forgot to mention about the rest of the castings.  They are also as great as them, such as Jeong Jun-ho, Kim Seong-woo, and Top from the Singing group Big Bang.  They are mostly first grade actors in Korea and they won’t let us down.

I wanted to find some of the shots from this drama but it hasn’t started shooting any yet.  It will be released around summer next year.  So we have to wait a lot more days.  I will put it up as soon as it is available.  I found some cute commercials instead.  You wouldn’t mind hearing Kim Tae-hee singing.  Please enjoy.
