It has been five years since those two big stars were seen on TV.  Simply said, it was worth watching it with this reason alone.

So Ji-sup and Shin Hyun-jun, their names simply represent charismatic acts.  They finally came back to our TV screen on the 18th.  It should be a long time for them to leave us although they were seen on movies.  It wouldn’t be easy for them to choose a drama to show they are still doing well after all those years at rest but they have chosen Cain and Abel to appeal their immortal acts.

Ji-sup became a top star after the drama, I am sorry I love you, but he had to do his military duty right after finishing the drama.  Because of that he had to wait about five years to come back to TV screen.  He must be really thirsty but also nervous to show himself in front of the camera again.

His acts on the first episode were good enough for his long-awaited fans, I think.  He still had his charismatic act on the desert scene that he was shot and left alone, talking his monologue.  He also showed a warm-hearted resident doctor’s acts later scenes.

Shin Hyun-jun makes me laugh because his funny characters from his recent movies like Maebal ui gibongi (Barefoot Gibong).  I thought he might ruin the whole drama if he took a serious role.  He took a serious role and he didn’t ruin it but he took my funny memories of himself away from my head.  He changed himself again to show he can handle any kinds of roles.  Especially his eyes show his inferiority against his brother and his professionally cool attitude in an emergency.

Both of them sort of mention that it was not so important to make so much popular drama although they care about the viewers’ rating.  More importantly they want to make this drama as a high quality one that gets recognition from general audiences as well as professionals.  Especially Hyun-jun said that he would like to give a good impression to let everyone remember his role, Lee Sun-woo.  He seemed to have lots of confidence to make us love his character.  I would love to watch how much he gets involve in his role until the end.
