So Ji-sup showed the realistic act on Cain and Abel ??????? Korean Drama

So Ji-sup’s trademark is sad eyes as his fans were fascinated when he acted on I am sorry, I love you.  It is not easy to show truly sad eyes like he does when you act.

When he acted the doctor, Choin, he was a warm-hearted decent person.  He had cute smile and soft voice.  He changed to a different person after he got shot on his head on the desert on episode 3.  It was lucky for him to even alive after the shot but he couldn’t remember anything.  He acted like he really lost his memory with using all of his body.  That’s why the fans are amazed by his act.

My only problem is that this drama is using too common technique again.  A main character lost his memory by an accident and I am assuming that he will undergo all the hardships in order to move the viewers’ hearts until he gets his memory back by another accident or an incessant efforts from people who love him.  He might get his memory back the perfect timing to claim his wealth and love and the story will wrap up.

Isn’t this the typical Korean drama stories?  I might write a post about how many Korean dramas using the same technique later.  My point is that it might give disappointment to some viewers like me using too obvious setting here although the actors and actresses work so hard to make it different.  I hope that no foreign viewers think this kind of accidents always happen in Korea after watching a few famous dramas.  This is just a setting to make it interesting and it doesn’t happen in real life as far as I know.

So Ji-sup does better on the difficult and sad scenes for sure.  I don’t think no one can compete with his act on that parts.  I really felt it again when I watched the scene that he got shot on his head on the desert.  I saw his eyes and body when he fell with the shot.  He was a man really dying by a bunch of the goon squad and my heart felt that the prominent young doctor, Choin, died in vain.

It looked so real and I almost lost where I was at when I watched him act.  His fantastic act changes the too plain set drama into a great one, I think.  I kind of want him to get back to his life soon but also want to enjoy watching his great act in this horrible setting for him now.  I wouldn’t want him to be if it were his real life.  One big advantage of watching drama allows us to observe that we would never have them for our real lives.  I just can’t wait to see how he will act on the next episode.

  1. Thank you , this is exactely what i feel after watching several times this drama , SJS is such an outstanding actor , he makes me feel sorry for a great neurosurgeon whose skill could help for a lot of patients , had to endure harship causing by low
gangters in this drama . Every times he got hurt i feel so bad , quite a waste for
neurosurgeon to do something else not surgery .
I wonder why this drama is rating so low , no body value acting skill anymore . Some dramas , romance comedy , cute actors , poor acting skill but still popular.

Thank again for your review .

  2. cathy/ Thanks for your comment. I don’t really care the popularity any more because they are so many people watch drama for other reasons like you mentioned. I also want to see it with many reasons but the most imporant things are the good contents and actors’ passion to make good drama. I really think that Cain and Abel has the both and this is the great drama no matter what others’ like it or not. Let’s just give our clap to this drama and Ji-sup.

  3. thank you for the film ,so ji sob as actor he is the best
