It was a bit surprising to hear that Song Hye-gyo was selected for Levi’s model.  She is not that tall and doesn’t have the lines to brag about her body as far as I know.

Her Levi’s commercial clips were released finally and amazed to look at her beautiful lines with the jeans.  I still think that other long legged fashion models would look better with them but she really looked awesome.  Then I realized why she was chosen for them.  She is the perfect proof that Levi’s is not only for a tall and long legged women but shorter people like her could wear them.  I think it might work well and sell more jeans this spring and summer seasons in Korea.

As you can see, the photographer avoided the full length cut with her standing up straight.  He might think that would not be the best cut for her commercial shots but I disagree.  Once he chose her to model for the jeans, he should show the most basic shot, standing straight, for the jeans commercial.  Without looking at the cut, it is not easy to distinguish whether they are stylish for shorter person like her or me or not.  I am pretty sure that her look would be great with it.

She is wearing very expensive jeans on these cuts.  The twinkling things on her back pocket are Swarovski diamonds.  I just couldn’t imagine who would want to put the precious stones on woman’s butt.  It wouldn’t be easy to sit down and drag her butt when she had to scoot over on any kind of seats because they might get scratched or even fall out.

It also would be little bumpy to sit on them and make the nice diamond mark on her butt when she decide to sit and read her book for some time.  These are not the only problems when I think about it.  How are you going to put them in washer and dryer?  If you dry them on a rope in your back yard, you need to put your security to guard them not to be stolen.  It is good looking on her butt but causes lots of problems, I think.

The least like shot is this.  It looks not natural and tries hard to show her leg in the longest angle.  Take a look at the height of her heels.  Why does she have to wear this much high heels to stress her short height?
